Magnetic valves are valves with a pre-installed magnetic actuator. Magnetic valves are used for the shutoff and mixing of fluids (water, water with antifreeze, heat transfer fluid etc.) and steam in nearly all HVAC applications. Siemens recommends magnetic valves especially for domestic hot water and chiller plants.
